The Sri Lankan Chime ...
With the sky above , clouds below and the end of world in
your next step,
You walk polite , you smile enough , you breathe the last
and then the first.
With a butterfly hop from the waterfall to the sky atop ,
you look up and below ,
You saw what the sky gave, the nature collected ,but all
with a fresh thirst .
There was a drizzle of happy all around in a float ,
A calm in the leaf , a music somewhere to hear .
There was something rowing near the boat,
A feeling of joy ,a quiet silence and lot to cheer .
The rainbow had all it’s color scattered in the green ,
Some in the mist , some in the flowers, some in the clear ,
The others hidden for the thoughtful eyes to be seen,
Some just see through the eye , but others have tear .
A odyssey has a lot of memories within ,
Some sweet , some crisp , some hot , some cool,
A answer to questions , a question in a spin,
Some will look outside but some prefer to be a fool.
